Drinking infused or detox water helps the body cleanse itself of impurities while also promoting weight loss. We asked our Project Be Healthy weight loss group on Facebook what their top detox water recipes are for losing weight and keeping it off.
To make infused water you will select your fruits and other ingredients and get yourself a tall glass of water. Chop up your ingredients and add them to your water. Let it sit in the fridge for a minimum of 15 minutes to infuse your flavors. You can also add your ingredients to hot water and let them sit, this all depends on your preference.
Detox water is a great alternative to sugary drinks and sodas. Remember that the more of an ingredient you add the stronger the flavor will be.
